"Valuation Advisors: Due Diligence in an ESOP Transaction":
This session will address what is an adequate due diligence process for the trustee's financial adviser in an ESOP purchase transaction. Some of the topics covered will include evaluating the company's historical financial statements as well as management's projections, addressing customer concentration and other company and industry specific nuances. In addition, the panel will address the feasibility of a quality of earnings (Q of E) report, and what alternatives may be available in connection with the financial due diligence process.
