Arlene Ashcraft has been engaged in business appraisals since 2005. She specializes in ESOP valuation and financial advisory services, and appraisal assignments for litigation support purposes. She has extensive experience in conducting appraisal engagements for marital dissolution purposes.

Prior to joining Columbia Financial Advisors, Inc. in 2005, Ms. Ashcraft was a contracted Associate Consultant with Silver Oak Solutions which offered procurement advisory services. Previously, Ms. Ashcraft was a Resident Physician at the University of California, San Francisco.

Ms. Ashcraft is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers designated in Business Valuation, and has completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program administered by the CFA Institute. Ms. Ashcraft earned her Masters of Business Administration from Portland State University in 2004, a Doctorate of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1999, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1995. She is a member of the ESOP Association and has been a speaker on ESOP valuation issues at conferences and webinars sponsored by the National Center for Employee Ownership.

Ms. Ashcraft’s appraisal experience stems from her tenure at Columbia Financial Advisors, Inc., as a Senior Associate responsible for individual client case management and all aspects of appraisal projects. Her medical background uniquely qualifies her for appraisal projects involving medical industry businesses.
